The Choas Begins
I'm Trish and I'm a Pommy Mommy! My fiancé Steve and I have a houseful of Pomeranians. This was not our intention a year ago when we got our first furbaby. Steve was living in Birmingham and I was in Lancashire, on my own for the first time in my life, so I wanted a small dog to keep me company until the weekends when Steve came up to see me. I took to the internet in search of my perfect little fluff ball. It actually happened that Steve found our Bella on Gumtree. She was the perfect age, price and size and best of all, she was in our town! We rang up and went to see her that day. We fell in love! There was a litter of 8 tiny little ginger poms, 7 of which were running riot, rough housing and playing. Little Bella, the tiniest and only dark one of the litter, just came and sat by me feet. I picked her up and she fell asleep in my arms. That was it, I had been chosen!
Life became fun for us. We had this tiny little fluff butt greeting us when we came in, growling at us when she wanted to play and waking us up in the morning by sticking her tiny tongue up our noses.
About 6 months later, I saw an ad for a 3 month old black and white male pom going for a very good price. I decided that Bella needed a playmate. So, Magic was introduced as part of our family.
This boy is the most loving, cuddly, bonkers, intuitive, bouncy boy I have ever met! He and Bella are the best of friends and the biggest pests. Trouble follows them around! Together, they go through chew toys at a rate of noughts!
But alas, our family wasn't complete just yet. I saw another ad online. This time for a tiny pure black pom boy who needed to be rehomed due to overcrowding. So, off we went to see him. And bring him home. I am a sucker for a fluffy face! This one, we called Logan. He was about 5 months old when we brought him home about 4 months ago, and has some behavioural and trust issues that we're working on. He barks at his own shadow and is scared of everything and everyone. But bless him, he's a sweetheart! He gets on brilliantly with the other 2 and is a little bundle of fun!
And that is how we came to have our little fur family! We love them all, they are all our babies and we would do anything for them. They're all sweet, funny, loving and crazy. They make us laugh, make me tear my hair out and fill me with joy and gave me a reason to get out of bed on my down days. We wouldn't be without them!
Stay with us, the next instalment has a few (5) surprises! And I promise lots of cute photos!
